Started in 1988 and finished in 2002, Richard Vye's Dog Tooth Mountain Railroad, built in his living room, steams through four mines, a lumber mill, a town, a roundhouse and a repair facility.
Dog Tooth Mountain is a testament to the precise detail and beauty of model railroading.
The Western America Railroad Museum is proud to have Mr. Vye's model on permanent display. Here is but a taste of what you can see, with a bit of information on its construction and inspiration.
